1.Can you buy extra ground stakes? The pointed plastic stakes break if the ground is hard.
-I'm not sure if you can buy extra stakes...but my husband dug holes and placed pvc pipe into the holes. Then we placed the stakes inside the pvc. It fit perfectly. So now when he mows the lawn, he removes the stakes/torches and mows and replaces them when he's finished. It's a possible solution for you. It worked for us.

3.How long does it take to charge?
-Just got mine last week and I left it outside in the sun for two days on off (they have a simple switch on the side) to get a good charge. The lights stay glowing strong for a very long time, if not all night.
