    About

Rick always says "it's not about the item, it's about the story" and this particular ring has one heck of a story. This is a staff Super Bowl ring that belonged to veteran Cowboys scout and career pro-player, Walt Yaworsky. Leading up to the 1990 NFL draft Cowboys Head Coach Jimmy Johnson had his mind made up on drafting Baylor linebacker James Francis. Yaworsky strongly believed otherwise and staked his reputation on a candidate deemed small by running back standards, a 5'g" 210lb recruit out of Florida Yaworsky boldly stated in his draft report that this player"will someday make Cowboys fans forget about Tony Dorsett" even going so far as to reportedly slam his hand on the table in a meeting regarding thepicks. Yarowsky eventually won out and the Cowboys traded up to draft the player who would go on to win Mvp in Super Bowl XXVl. 93' season MVP and become the leagues all time leadina rusher, Emmit Smith.

This stately ring features four football shaped genuine diamonds signifying the teams 4 NFL championships. lt is crafted in 10k yellow gold and weighs 60 grams. The right shank features the text World Champions Back to Back" set amidst two Lombardi trophies and the Super Bowl XXVlll logo. Left shank reads "Yowarskv" over the NFL logo and Cowbov's home field Texas Stadium.
